Controls Engineer

Details: SUMMARY: Plans, coordinates and performs improvement activities on production equipment, including systems of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC’s.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Takes all actions and necessary steps to deliver quality parts to our customer. Supports all maintenance activities (preventive, corrective and predictive) on production equipment incl. troubleshooting. Responsible/support Maintenance for development of preventative maintenance procedures Responsible to train employees regarding technical competency of production lines Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods on mechanical and electrical/controls systems. Supports Process Engineering on development of manufacturing concepts, including new line/product integrations. Updating of all required process/machine documentation such as LISP, Maximo, PFMEA, process flow chart, poka yoke, drawings, schematics, instructions, etc Responsible for process capability and control and MSA (measurement system analysis). Leads continuous improvement projects such as Scrap Reduction, Downtime Reduction and PPLS. Leads minor projects, test- and prototype runs and supports future development.
