Details: Primary Job Function: Support Prototype Quality and MFG Team during pre-production build activity. Work with the Prototype Quality group by attending supplier part reviews and working with suppliers on jig and tooling concepts to ensure that suppliers meet Prototype Quality Requirements. II. Primary Responsibilities: Perform on site & off site quality verification for components & finished goods. Communicate effectively with both supply base Production Engineering regarding tooling, jigs and equipment for preproduction activity. Travel to TBA Suppliers, TBA Plants, and Customer to support build/quality activity for pre-production milestones. Develop and implement new processes and/or equipment for manufacturing product during pre-production builds. Ensure that all Calibration of equipment such as gages, tools, and machines are completed on a yearly basis. Manage and communicate open issues related to equipment and quality builds during pre-production activity.
